CLAY

Soda Fired Pots

My stoneware and porcelain clay pots are wheel thrown and hand altered.... clay slips, glazes and oxide washes are used to decorate them.... they are then fired to 2350 F in an atmospheric firing where soda and wood are introduced to offer unique flashings and finishes.... these pots are designed and made to be used daily

FIBERS

Blankets / Ponchos / Shawls / Table Runners

The handwoven pieces are made on a four harness loom.... most of the yarns are handspun, hand-dyed, or hand painted.... they vary in texture, size and color.... making a piece from natural fibers such as mohair, wool, buffalo and alpaca offers a unique and colorful blanket of cloth that offers warmth and an intriguing palette of colour..... because of the many varying fibers I recommend drycleaning
